“Suzanne Myers was a wonderful guide on a walking tour in Florence from our hotel near the train station to the Pitti Palace to Santa Croce. We got into uncrowded, small streets more typical of the area than major streets, saw points of interest we would have missed on our own, and heard personal stories that gave life to sites we visited. We chose the Pitti Palace as the focus of our tour. Suzanne guided us to specific art works, sometimes going from one piece in a gallery to compare it with another piece one or two galleries away. She noted distinctions between styles or subject matter from one gallery to another, relating the art to political and cultural history of the period. The highlight of our 18-day tour of Italy was the day we spent with Suzanne. We highly recommend her.”

“Suzanne Myers is a fantastic tour guide! Before we even met, Suzanne happily provided me with recommendations for places to see for our first trip to Italy in our email exchanges. My 19 year old daughter and I then were privileged to have a private tour of the Uffizi Gallery with Suzanne, an art historian. She is energetic, engaging and very knowledgeable. In fact, another tourist who overheard Suzanne explaining some of the art to us, came over and asked if she was free to give him a walking tour of Florence later that day, because she was so good. We were also grateful for Suzanne’s restaurant and jeweler recommendations. I wish we could have hired her for more guided tours, but we were leaving the next morning. Next time in Italy, I will be sure to contact Suzanne for more tours!”
